Gyllyngvase Beach is one of the top Cornish beaches with its white arc of golden sand and inviting sea.

This blue flag status beach is located to the south of Falmouth town centre.

It is a good family beach with long, deep, sandy stretch of coast that attracts both residents and visitors all year.

The beach is cleaned daily in season and is recommended by the marine conservative society.
This iconic beach offers excellent facilities for all the families.

It has a sand chair to enable access to the beach and the water for those with mobility difficulties. The chair is suitable for all age groups.

There is a level access to the beach along with disabled toilets, located 20 yards away from gylly beach.

Dogs are welcome on this beach except between Easter Sunday and 30 September when a seasonal dog ban is in place.

The beach is also backed by the lifeguard cover that serve the Gyllyngvase Beach between 15 May – 26 September.

There is a large car park which is 100 yards away from the main entrance.
At low tide, you can enjoy rock pooling, while in the shallow pools you will find shrimps, winkles, crabs and squat lobsters in abundance.

The gylly beach café is also built over the beach and offers wonderful views from its terrace and is open all year round.

This award winning café is undoubtedly a lovely spot to enjoy fresh seafood with your family or loved ones.

You won’t struggle to find anywhere to stay around Gyllyngvase Beach as there are plenty of hotels, Apartments and Bed and breakfasts to choose from.

If you are looking for a bit of luxury whilst visiting Falmouth then St Michaels Hotel is a stones throw away from the beach and offers something that little bit special.
